This will be the website of the english version about our Veggie Church (German: "Garten Eden Veggie Church" or "Veggie Church Jesus4world All Nations nach Art des Garten Eden. Vegan & frutarisch", free translated into English: "Garden of Eden Veggie Church" or "Veggie Church Jesus4world All Nations in the style of the Garden of Eden. Vegan & frutarian.")
It is planned to have it all translated in spring or summer 2019. We hope to have it done by then.
See you soon!
Love to you all,
Many Christians are confused or even feel attacked when they are told to live veggie as Christians. Then immediately questions arise and reactions like: "Jesus ate meat/fish, too!" - Is that so? Extensive research on special German vegetarian Internet pages as well as on theological pages should bring clarity to us here. What is particularly astonishing or rather frightening is that so many Christians do not regard animals as living beings, but as food. Then one is made aware by them of biblical passages where it says that under Christ there are no food rules and that one must not divide because of a dish! This view of the so-called "Christians" frightens us again and again and leaves us with the question: How much gentle, peace-loving, merciful and compassionate Jesus may live in such people? Don´t do these people ("Christians"; however, it should also be noted here that people of other faiths - like Muslims - have the same problem as many vegan Muslims advocate for, that animals are also respected in their religion) see at all that it is not about a food, about dish, but about "life and death"? That we hold the life of other beings in our hands and deal with it totally arbitrarily without thinking? That it is about compassion? Mercy? Mercy for another living being, even if we do not understand it or think it is "stupid" and has no eternal soul or feelings? Can a Christian deliberately take the life of another creature of God for his own egoistic palate, because in today's modern world one can completely replace it with other food without feasting on the life of others? How do you imagine a true Christian? What is our idea of Christ and his relationship to animals? What did He come to this world for, what was His exact mission? On this website of ours we want to provide detailed answers on several links to all these and many other questions and hope that we succeed.
Our Veggie Church is the first church in the world to be commissioned by God to prepare and equip all God's saints on earth for the New Jerusalem.
The focus of this congregation is on the Garden of Eden and life before the Fall - hence veggie. Adam and Eve lived in harmony with the animals - who also did not eat meat - and nature in the Garden of Eden and were noble and good. This longing for the beginning (or for what is to come: the New Jerusalem in the form of the Garden of Eden) comes alive here in this congregation.
At the beginning of our congregation (spring 2017) we were also vegetarian. But for quite some time now we have completely erased this area from our midst, because vegetarian food (such as milk, eggs, cheese, etc.) still cruelly torments and mistreats animals, which is why we are now only vegan and frutarian. After all we are of the opinion that eggs are there for the hens, milk for the cow children (or goat children) and this "food" is basically no food at all and certainly not for humans.
First of all: Since we see ourselves as a family - as it was Christ's original thought of His Church - we are in first name terms with each other, and that is why in any direct address here the "you" is a common form of address. It may seem strange and rude to some, but in our eyes using the formal form to address someone is too serious and distant from the other person, which we do not want. Moreover, those who confess Jesus as their Lord all belong as children of God to the family of God and for this reason alone we are a large family that uses first names. God does not speak to us through formal forms to address his children either, but through first name terms. And so do we with Him.
Furthermore, it should be noted that the remarks "we" or "our" in connection with "we believe that" or "to the best of our belief" or similar here do not mean the entire congregation with all its church members, but only us - the two initiators of the congregation - who brought this congregation into being. Our church members are free to decide in detail whether, for example, they agree completely or only partially with the directions given by us. Fundamental however is that they must live vegan or frutaric and should concern themselves less with the carnal interests. We are also convinced that the Bible as we know it today has been falsified, for example in the vegan teaching of Jesus Christ, since the first Christians lived without meat and they said that they were taught this by their Lord. We believe (and many of our members believe) that many parts of the Bible have not been correct and consistent and have been changed over time, so that we believe in non-biblical writings such as "The Gospel of the Perfect Life" or other writings. We as initiators, however, came to realize that the passages in the text about "God Abba" (Father) and "God Amma" (Mother) are not true, because God is only Father and not Mother, or that Jesus is said to have taught that milk should be drunk, but that this was never part of man's natural diet (based on the latest German studies explained later in this book) and that Satan loves milk and meat and by stopping this diet he can be "starved out". Or another scripture speaks of the "mother on earth" and the "father in heaven", which we do not completely assume with regard to the mother either, nor that Jesus' miracles are denied in these writings, since he "only" taught fasting and the like and is never supposed to have healed anyone on his own. We are convinced that Jesus still is and remains God and thus He is mighty of miracles, as we all are when we pray in empowerment and authority, when we belong to Jesus, but this does not make His teachings, which include animal welfare and fleshlessness, worth less. In our view, in a world where Satan rules so powerfully, it is hardly possible to find only one book where the complete truth is recorded without Satan's hand botching it. The Bible also contains truth, but not all of it. In the extra-biblical scriptures there is also truth, but not complete. So with the help of the Holy Spirit we have to find the small pieces of truth everywhere and put them together to a whole, which also makes sense, because otherwise everyone - also the blasphemers - can read the one truth and mock it. This has already happened, so that the Scriptures have been falsified and scattered. The consumption of meat was sold as the will of God and so for thousands of years now Christians have been saying that they are allowed to eat meat without any remorse. Satan's hand has been very powerful here. But now we want to bring out the original, the original message of Jesus Christ, as it was taught to the Original Christians and put the animals and nature under our protection. More about all these topics you will find later on external links here on this site.
We live a life out of full love, we do not exclude a single creature of God from our love, and we only live out our mercy towards people - as most Christians do - but also towards animals (we let animals live in order not to take out our egoistic hedonism by murder on a living and innocent being to receive meat); we live vegan and/or frutarian) and nature (we do not unload our garbage in nature, we do not tear on leaves from bushes or trees etc out of boredom).
At this point we would like to quote the French poet and winner of the Nobel Prize for Literature, Romain Rolland (1866-1944): "In my opinion, cruelty against animals and even apathy towards their suffering is one of the most serious sins of the human race. It is the basis of human depravity. If man creates so much suffering, what right does he have to complain if he himself suffers?"
According to Jesus' teachings and according to Jesus' nature - who was full of compassion and love towards ALL God's creatures and who himself lived veggie according to realistic and traditional and true text sources - a Christian or follower of Jesus is one who saves and preserves life and not one who thinks and acts egoistically for his cravings for pleasure and even accepts the torture, abuse and death of another living and innocent being as well as being filled with the breath of God and does not care about it any further. Some "Christians" even laugh at and amuse themselves with the suffering of animals. In our eyes simply unbelievable!
In addition, we believe that we must renounce the earthliness and pray for earthly concerns before the mercy seat of God and not try to change things here on earth out of our own efforts. In the end, God will destroy the old heaven and earth, and the heavenly city - the New Jerusalem - will come down from heaven (see the book of Revelation in the Bible). But we do not lay our hands idly in our laps and accept what is happening on earth, but we come to God and ask. Many evil things on earth have already been averted or mitigated in this way. Of course we should also actively change things ourselves if this is possible. But only from the point of view that we do it for God and for creation, but not from the mere idea of preserving the earth, because we Christians know - as we have already described above - that this world will not last forever and that we should not hang ourselves on worldly things. Our thinking must be detached from the earth and prepared for what comes from heaven. Only the true saints and righteous of God understand this and will follow our mission (all others who call themselves "Christians" will continue to mock us and will not be able to understand the true life and mission of Jesus); they will all turn their backs on the concerns of the earth (i.a. policy) and come to God and give it into His hands and will not fight themselves by their own power against something that is not in their power and destiny and is transient, since God will soon destroy it anyway (environmental protection and animal welfare, as I said, except if this is not for the conservation of the earth, but to free living beings from bondage, torture and death and thus is giving life to Jesus' mission of love and compassion). Only living vegan or frutarian without this fundamental sense behind it (letting go of the earthly and compulsive attachment to it) is not desired and welcome in our community, or rather it is a recognizable sign for a true "saint" (word for the righteous of God) that he, in addition to the vegan/frutarian way of life, has also really renounced the earthly as far as possible (also in the sense of dependence on earthly things, that one thus attains more inner peace) and has completely surrendered to the will of God and does not get upset about politics and other world events or about other people (etc), but rests in the will of God.
This is also the case with our own flesh, our body - that useless and exaggerated attention and care and cleanliness is the expression of the fact that we have not yet sufficiently renounced this earth. If we would take care of our soul just as fervently as many people take care of their bodies, their good looks, their outfits, etc., we would all be saints long ago!
Constant showering/bathing/washing, dressing nicely (much and excessive consumption of clothes, make-up, jewellery etc.), styling nicely, smelling well etc. is a clear sign to everyone who thinks too earthly and washes more the body than the soul and deals more with the flesh than with the soul. Likewise, frequent bathing/showering/washing damages the environment/nature we stand for. God wants to put the longing for the heavenly homeland in our hearts, just as He has already put eternity in our hearts, so that we burn for it and move away from our bodies, so that we find it more and more disgusting and alienating to live in them. He wants to give us such strong disgust and such strong rejection of our body that we reject everything on earth in food and in our own body and only want to get out of it, out to HIM. If we love to live in our body, the urge to want Him cannot mature enough and will hardly last. Our body is indeed the temple of the Holy Spirit according to the Bible, but the soul is far more important than the body. Many Christians often forget this.
We invite all the saints (righteous) of God who think and live in this way to our church in this present end time, in order to prepare with us to soon be allowed to move into the heavenly city, the New Jerusalem - well prepared and equipped in body and spirit completely cleansed!
In this sense we wish you much joy while exploring our church and our website as well as all the best, much protection and blessing, grace and glory of God as well as much love of God the Father (Abba love) and the 100% guidance of the Holy Spirit in your life!
